Essentials BATHE (Formerly Panagenics Shampoo by Ashley Craig) is a “soap-free” and hypoallergenic shampoo that can be used mindfully by itself or as part of a system following Essentials TEXTURE conditioner and preceding Essentials REVIVE leave-in spray. It is suitable for harsh, wire, and oily coats and is safe to use daily on dogs with sensitivity issues, including skin irritation or hot spots.
BATHE boasts a low 5.0 pH, so it does not open up or lift the cuticles along the hair’s shaft. It uses a mild detergent, much larger in molecular size and mass, and with higher solubility, to clean without further damaging the hair or lifting its cuticles. It will not dry out hair or irritate skin by penetrating deep into its delicate underlying cell layers or destroying the microbiome of the skin.
